Leslie Engle, Our Beloved Shrew

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform you of the passing of Leslie Engle today. Leslie started the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire nearly 15 years ago with her husband Ken, who died only three years ago himself.

Quite simply, Leslie was the Shrew. I urge all who can attend next Saturday to do so. We owe it to AJ to show our support and gratitude for all that Leslie did for all of us. Leslie create the Faire that has become a part of our lives. We owe everything to her.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 24th. Details will be posted on the Shrewsbury website (http://www.shrewfaire.com/).
